CE 1102: Industrial Hygiene for Safety Professionals

About This Course

This education course covers the fundamental topics of the role an Industrial Hygienist would have in the field of safety.

Students will recall the history and regulatory background of industrial hygiene; summarize how principles of physics, chemistry, and biological sciences apply to IH, and perform basic calculations related to IH. Students will also identify occupational health hazards that may exist in the workplace including ergonomic, chemical, biological, radiological and physical hazards.

These programs are not eligible for Federal Student Aid, military tuition assistance, VA funding or Learning Partner discounts.

  1. Students may request a course extension if the course is not completed within the allotted 10 week time frame. Extension options are available, with associated, non-refundable processing fees. Students who do not complete the course with a 70% or higher within the allotted 10 weeks and do not request a course extension will be removed from the course. Back to duration
