The Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification is a sought after credential in the safety industry. This course is designed to present students with a representation of the Board of Certified Safety Professional’s ASP certification exam concepts and questions.
Pre-recorded audio presentations will review how to calculate and solve mathematic equations, examine safety management systems, ergonomics, and fire prevention. Students will additionally review environmental and emergency response management, training, education, law and ethics & other concepts that follow the ASP® Examination blueprint.

Course Prerequisites
Students should have the Texas Instrument-30XIIS and / or HP 10bii + calculator and access to speakers or headphones.
Additional Course Information
The course itself has only a representation of ASP® study questions and the “Study Guide” (workbook provided to student upon successful completion of the course) contains the bulk of the study questions. The questions used in the course represent high probability questions or questions seen regularly but there are hundreds more that can make up your 200 question test.
Additional self-study (recommended 80+ hours upon completion of course) will be required in order to be fully qualified to pass the ASP® examination. Upon completion of this course, one ASP® Self Study Workbook will be provided to students as a PDF document via email.
Prerequisites to Take Certification Exam
ASP® candidates must have a minimum of an associate’s degree in safety & heath, or environmental or a bachelor’s degree in any field. Candidates also must have at least 1 full year of safety experience where safety is at least 50% preventative, professional level with breadth and depth of safety duties.
