The National Floor Safety Institute’s (NFSI) Walkway Auditor Certificate Holder (WACH) Training course objective is to educate individuals involved in the walkway safety industry on the proper techniques of auditing the traction of building walkways through observation and measurement based on NFSI B101 Standards. This program’s mission is “to educate professionals about current walkway standards, the measurement of coefficient of friction and the performance of a proper walkway audit.” The WACH credential is an industry-known designation that shows one has been professionally trained in the field of Walkway Auditing.

This program is not eligible for Federal Student Aid, military tuition assistance, VA funding or Learning Partner discounts.

Additional Course Information

Students will review the presentations provided in each of the 8 units and complete an assessment on the unit content. Students will not be able to move to the next unit until they have successfully passed the previous unit assessment with an 80% or higher to ensure students are grasping concepts. We encourage students to reach out to the NFSI facilitator if they are struggling with certain concepts.

A certificate of completion with the number of CEUs awarded will be issued upon successfully completing the course. Course must be paid for in full before student is eligible to receive certificate.

IMPORTANT: The WACH credentialing exam is only available to complete at NFSI Headquarters in Hurst, TX. Students who pass the WACH 1001 course are able to take this exam, free of charge, and will schedule their exam in Unit IX of the course. Traveling expenses are not included with course tuition.
